The local entertainment community is mourning the loss of Sam Rubin, a respected and connected anchor who brought Los Angeles's glitz and glamour into living rooms for decades. Rubin died on May 10, 2024, at the age of 64.

Rubin's career spanned more than 40 years, starting as a reporter for the Hollywood Reporter in the early 1980s.
