Clemson to Host South Carolina in 2024, 2026
Palmetto Series to be Played on the First Saturday of November Each Year
The 2023-24 Palmetto Series presented by the SC Education Lottery will feature Clemson hosting South Carolina in Death Valley on Saturday, November 2, 2024, and the Gamecocks hosting the Tigers in Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The Palmetto Series will be played on the first Saturday of November each year moving forward.
The Palmetto Series, which began in 1896, is one of the oldest and most storied rivalries in college football. The two schools are located just 130 miles apart and have a passionate fan base that makes the Palmetto Series one of the most anticipated games of the year.
Clemson has won the last seven meetings in the series, including a 30-0 victory in 2022. However, South Carolina has won two of the last three meetings in Columbia, including a 31-17 victory in 2020.
The 2024 meeting will be the 123rd meeting between the two schools. Clemson leads the series 73-42-3. The 2026 meeting will be the 125th meeting between the two schools.
The Palmetto Series is a major economic driver for both Clemson and South Carolina. The game is expected to generate millions of dollars in revenue for the two schools and the surrounding communities.
